VALIDATION TESTS

On August 2, CEBAS-CSIC continues to work on validation tests to demonstrate the biostimulant and bioprotective effect of the liquid fraction obtained from the alperujo by physical means. These tests are carried out by applying said liquid fraction and the products derived from it, created during the project, in plants of different crops to see its effect on them with respect to a control.

INTERNAL PARTNER MEETING

On October 8, an internal meeting was held between project partners to share ideas that will improve the progression of project actions. As always, this meeting was very beneficial for both partners. We continue to look to the future, taking care of the environment through the implementation of a circular economy based on the revaluation of the waste generated in the extraction of olive oil.

MEETING BETWEEN PROJECT PARTNERS

On November 6, all the partners met to analyze the progress of the project. At the meeting, all the progress in the project, the changes proposed for the process and the implementation of the new actions were shared. We will shortly begin to analyze the effect of the residue from obtaining EVOO on crops and animal feed.

START OF THE CAMPAIGN AT THE LIFE PROJECT OIL MILL

On December 9, the campaign began in the oil mill where the new olive oil that we will use in the project will be generated. The objective of the oil mill is to obtain excellent olive oil, and that of LIFE Olea Regenera to revalue all the waste generated in this process (alperujo) by obtaining, by physical methods, raw materials used in the creation of new products for the agriculture and livestock.
