TO CARRY OUT THE PROJECT, A SERIES OF ACTIONS TO BE CARRIED OUT HAS BEEN RAISED:
The main objective of the project is to valorize the waste coming from the extraction of olive oil, giving it value by becoming raw material for other organic products and reducing the distrust caused by this waste in society due to its high polluting power.
Design and start-up of the innovative process proposed in two mills (Spain and Portugal).
Formulation of new products from waste generated in olive oil extraction.
Validation of new agricultural supplies, both in field and greenhouse in very varied types of crops, in Spain and Portugal, taking into account the different climatic conditions of both places and the different crop diseases they entail.
Validation of functional animal food, both in vitro and on farms, in ruminants and monogastrics.
Disseminations of obtained results to stakeholders (olive oil mills, breeders and farmers) and to untrained people.
Design of the business plan and commercialization of both product ranges. Therefore, two business sectors will be opened, one focused on agriculture and the other on livestock.
